FAIXAS DA BÍBLIA NA RUA
O que sabem a maioria das pessoas sobre os textos e conceitos da Bíblia?
Muito pouco e não raro a informação que têm está distante do texto original, por falta de leitura do texto bíblico em si.
Sendo as questões existenciais, De onde vim? Para onde vou? fulcrais para cada ser humano e indo a cosmovisão ocidental beber os seus fundamentos ao texto sagrado da Bíblia, importa levar o texto e as suas temáticas e símbolos centrais às pessoas em geral, deixando-lhes informação sobre a qual refletir e decidir.
A ação das Faixas da Bíblia teve origem num projeto pedagógico, com maior impacto público em épocas como o Natal, a Páscoa, o Dia da Ascensão /5ª Feira de Espiga. De alguns anos para cá estendeu-se às ruas de forma regular. Estamos no centro da Praça do Rossio/D. Pedro IV, em Lisboa, à sexta feira, entre as 16.30 e as 20.00.

Neste site poderá ter alguma informação básica, com base bíblica, sobre textos e temáticas que refletem a visão judaico cristão da existência, que compreende:
* o Bom e Justo propósito de Deus para o homem num mundo cheio de falhas;
* a incapacidade humana para se reconciliar, por sua ação injusta, imperfeita, com o Deus Criador, Santo, Perfeito;
* o misericordioso Plano de Resgate acionado por Deus em favor de todo o homem que reconhece Cristo como A Única Ponte feita por Deus para Si mesmo;
* o livre arbítrio que permite ao homem decidir se pretende viver a Eternidade com Deus ou sem Deus, e as implicações dessa escolha sem retorno.

What do most people know about the texts, symbols and concepts of the Bible?
Very little and often the information they get is far from the original text.
Where did I come from? Where am I going? What do I live for? are existential questions, relevant for every human being and since the Western worldview draws its foundations from the sacred text of the Bible, it is important that people in general get to know some basics about the text and its themes, so they can have reliable information on which to reflect and decide.
The Bible Banners street program originated from a pedagogical project with special public emphasis on Christmas, Easter, Ascension Day / Espiga Thursday. It later expanded to a street outreach. For a few years now we have been in the center of Praça do Rossio/D. Pedro IV, in Lisbon, on Fridays, between 4.30 pm and 8 pm.

* God's Good, Righteous purpose for man in a world full of flaws,
* the human inability to reconcile, through his defective, imperfect action, with God, the Holy, Perfect Creator;
